Muhammad Ali, formerly known as: Cassius Marcellus Clay Jr. (January 17, 1942; Louisville, Kentucky – June 3, 2016; Phoenix, Arizona) is an American Muslim professional boxer.

He was the first boxer to win the World Championship three times in 1978 after defeating L. Spinks and defeating his rival in the same year. He was helped by his wife, Lonnie, when Parkinson’s disease became unable to carry the flag in the stadium.
