Starting a New Revolution from Instagram Feature: Video Chat
Instagram’s new video chat feature was introduced at the F8 Developer Conference, hosted by Facebook today.
The Facebook team talked about some of the new and important features of today’s conference, such as Instagram and WhatsApp. The most striking feature was the ‘video chat’ feature, which was added to Instagram. Zuckerberg said that they realized that the live broadcast feature already existing in practice is used in a ‘chat with friends’ environment in general, and that they have decided to make such an innovation in this information light.
The feature is not yet active for all users, but is expected to be fully accessible in the next few weeks. If you look at the introduction, it is thought that video chat will be a frequently preferred feature, with the update coming in to accommodate multiple chat features. A similar feature will also be available for WhatsApp, but there is no clear information about the update date.
The only feature offered for Instagram is not ‘video chat’. At the same time, it is said that the application will receive AR support for Facebook and third party applications, but the details of this feature are not yet fully explained. Another feature that comes in is a more detailed and focused discovery tab. This is intended to make it easier for users to focus on their interests. During the conference, many innovations and news were announced and the developments made are highly anticipated.
