Intel’s CPU series consisted of a core family of long-lasting Core i3, Core i5 and Core i7. According to some leaked news on the internet these days, Intel will soon have Core i9 series processors that will deliver high performance by adding a new family to the core family. Thanks to the Core i9 series that will be a new member of the family, Intel will have a chance to compete against AMD’s Ryzen series.
An internet form called AnandTech, the source of the leak claim, belongs to the user “Sweepr”. Assuming the visual reality is that the Sweepr user shared it, the Core i9 chips will be part of the Skylake-X family and will be used for computers that require extreme high performance for personal use.
Models of the new i9 series will be Core i9-7920X, Core i9-7900X, Core i9-7820X, and Core i9-7800X. The most powerful processor in the series will work on 12 physical and 24 logical cores and will have 16.5MB L3 Cache. All the chips in the Skylake-X family will have dual-channel DDR4 memories running at 2666 MHz clock speed, while the LGA will have the 2066 socket type.
After the leak, whispering sounds about the price from different sources, yet Intel is looking at the heart-burning Core i9 series of computer chips will be the price of what will be the price. Intel’s new processors are expected to be showcased at Computex on May 30th and sold in June.
